Sindh postpones re-opening schools in second phase

KARACHI: The Sindh Government on Friday postponed the re-opening of school in second phase due to rise in cases of Coronavirus.

Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani announced at a press conference that the classes of 6, 7 and 8 would not commence from September 21.

The federal and provincial governments decided to re-open schools on September 15, since then class 9 and above have been started. However the number of Covid-19 were rising continuously. The minister said, to re-open the schools of class 6,7 and 8 will be decided after reviewing  corona cases till September 28, 2020.
